Family Based Care; Consecon
 Download our brochure
Bayfield's Family Based Care Program has been designed to meet the needs of children and youth who are making the transition to community living with the continued support of Bayfield's clinical services, psychiatric monitoring and private school. Bayfield's Family Based Care Programs help children and youth discover their full potential in all aspects of life while they learn to appreciate and respect one another.

Family Based Care operators are skilled in child therapy techniques, such as counselling and democratic parenting techniques and complete Bayfield's competency training. All Family Based Care homes require a Safe Home study and meet all Ministry standards.

Bayfield provides two models of Family Based Care Homes. A parent modelled with staff support and a parent modelled without staff support.
